seguito indichiamo i nomi dei Cheyenne morti nel conflitto del fiume
Sand Creek. Si tratta dei capifamiglia così come furono indicati in un
documento del governo tribale dei Cheyenne del nord datato 1982. La
trascrizione in lingua Cheyenne fu fatta da un agente indiano di cui
non si riuscì a decifrare correttamente il nome. La presenza dei punti
interrogativi, piuttosto significativa, indica che esistono dei dubbi
sulla correttezza del nome.
